The Washington Ambulance Association (WAA) is the state's oldest association promoting the interests of the private ambulance industry.  Representative members sit on a number of State Boards and Councils, including the Governor's EMS Steering committee, and the EMS Licensing & Certification Advisory Committee.  WAA members are from both rural and urban areas in all parts of the state.

WAA member companies join together to improve the business and regulatory environment affecting our industry.  Members work to improve reimbursement levels and to streamline and clarify the reimbursement process.  Our training and education programs enhance the skills of professional, dedicated employees and staff.  WAA members uphold the highest industry standards and foster good corporate citizenship and promote the interest of the private ambulance industry.
