Our MissionThe Washington Ambulance Association (WAA) represents companies and organizations providing emergency and non-emergency ground and air medical transportation services. Formed in 1962 in response to the need for improvements in medical transportation and emergency medical services, the WAA serves as a voice and clearinghouse for the Washington ambulance industry. The WAA views pre-hospital care not only as a public service, but also as an essential part of the nation's total healthcare system.
